Jane’s Walk in the Park: Preservation & Stewardship Mad. Sq. Park
Join us for a Jane’s Walk in the Park! This walk, on the topic of Preservation and Stewardship of historic Madison Square Park, will be led by Madison Square Park Executive Director, Keats Myer.
Maintaining a seven-acre historic public park in the middle of Manhattan is no easy task. Get the inside scoop on the inner workings of Madison Square Park Conservancy, as its Executive Director, Keats Myer, shares the Conservancy’s vision for the Park’s future and discusses what it means to protect, nurture, and enhance this dynamic public green space.
Please meet at the William H. Seward Monument in the south west corner of the Park at the 23rd Street and Broadway entrance.
As part of Celebrating the City: Jane Jacobs at 100, Madison Square Park Conservancy joins with the Municipal Art Society to celebrate the legacy of urban activist Jane Jacobs with a series of eye opening walks in Madison Square Park.
