Mad. Sq. Eats is Back!

Mad. Sq. Eats, the semi-annual culinary market presented by UrbanSpace and the Madison Square Park Conservancy, is slated to return to Worth Square on September 27, 2013.

Over the past five years, Mad. Sq. Eats has become a landmark New York City dining destination, bringing together some of New York City’s most popular restaurants and well-respected chefs. The talented epicureans prepare dishes that feature the area’s best local produce and seasonal ingredients; many use the market to experiment with new, buzzy dishes and drinks not found in their brick and mortar locations.

“I think this is one of the most special places to be a customer in New York City. There aren’t too many spaces in Manhattan where we’ve activated beautiful outdoor spaces near the park, where you can sit down and eat fabulous food with friends,” says Susan Povich of Red Hook Lobster Pound (“New York’s reigning queen of lobster rolls” says Time Out New York). Other returning vendors include Roberta’s, Charlito’s Cocina, The Cannibal and Bar Suzette — and look out for some exciting newcomers!

Mad. Sq. Eats is located between 24th and 25th Streets at the intersection of 5th Ave and Broadway. The market will be open daily from 11am-9pm from September 27th until October 25th.
