Last night we celebrated the centennial anniversary of America’s first public holiday tree here in Madison Square Park in 1912. It was a momentous event and smiling faces were all about. Families and children crafted holiday poppers with MSP, enjoyed treats and cider from Hill Country Barbecue Market, made wishes on our wishing tree – a new MSP tradition, and learned historical facts about the 1912 event that sparked it all! A big thank you to The New York Life Singers and Audra Rox for your beautiful music. Many were in attendance and it was delightful to see everyone out for the countdown.
Happy Holidays to our Mad. Sq. Community!
