Celebrate the 4th!

Happy Independence Day! We hope that you are able to enjoy a day full of friends, family, fireworks – and perhaps some outdoor festivities with strong drinks and great food cooked on a grill!

While we’re on the topic of outdoor festivities, Celebrate Flatiron Chefs! is similar to your outdoor 4th of July parties, only instead of your dad on the grill, we have amazing chefs from abc cocina, Resto & The Cannibal, Craftbar, Hanjan, ilili, Pranna, and Raymi all working the charcoal grills.

Instead of your regular Nathan’s Dogs you’ll have Eleven Madison Park‘s Humm Dog, bacon wrapped hotdogs topped with truffle mayo, gruyere cheese, and celery relish. Or try the Shake Shack‘s DogMeister, a Vienna all-beef dog topped with Shack Cheddar & American cheese sauce and crispy marinated shallots. Instead of a lackluster burger or sandwich stuck between two buns, you’ll be able to have a Chickwich slider from Hill Country Chicken, a gormet veggie burger with cheddar from the folks at No. 7 Sub, or a Char Pate Slider from April Bloomfield and the John Dory.

Deserts? We have you covered there too, with Gelato from Ciao Bella and Asellina, Fresh Berries and Vanilla Bean Mascarpone from Pastry Chef Rachel Binder of Maialino, and the – perfect for summer – marinated summer berries with lemon verbena granite created by Maysville Pastry Chef Caroline Schiff.

With all this food consumption, you need help washing it down, and whats better for that than an assortment of beers from Brooklyn Brewery, The Bronx Brewery, and Rockaway Brewing Co!
