About Jamie Boyer, Ph.D | James S. Boyer, Ph.D.| Stavros Niarchos Foundation Vice President for Children’s Education | New York Botanical Garden
Jamie Boyer is a paleobotanist and a vice president for education at The New York Botanical Garden (Bronx). He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Garden’s student, teacher, and family education programs. Jamie holds a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the State University of New York- Binghamton, where he studied the evolution and development of early land plants. Jamie also serves as the Co-Director of the Garden’s Citizen Science Program studying the seasonal change of plants and water quality monitoring.
