Celebrate Mad. Sq. Chefs 2017 Recap

With the summer sun shining on the Park, Celebrate Mad. Sq. Chefs opened its gates to nearly 1,000 attendees, offering food from the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Highlighting the 34 restaurants were the outstanding chefs that make the event possible, donating their time and food, and making sure everyone left full and happy. Guests could easily grab beer, wine, or soda from one of the fantastic brands on site—or head to Liquor Row, which hosted a diverse group of 8 liquor purveyors making cocktails. As everyone ate and drank to their hearts delight, The Brain Cloud played their brand of Hot Jazz, setting a festive mood for this year’s event.

Celebrate Mad. Sq. Chefs helps raise funds for Madison Square Park, making it possible for the Conservancy to keep the Park beautiful and clean. Thank you to all of our chefs, restaurants, and beverage participants for their incredible efforts that made this one of the Conservancy’s most memorable Celebrate Mad. Sq. Chefs to date—and to our attendees, who make each event in the Park special. Special thanks to our Co-Chairs Steven Fuld, Laurie Golub, and Neil Luthra.
