Seph Rodney, Ph.D is a staff writer and editor for Hyperallergic and has written for CNN, MSNBC, American Craft magazine, and other publications. He has appeared on AM Joy with Joy Reid. He is featured on the podcast The American Age. He has a forthcoming book from Routledge press on the changing nature of the art museum visit. Rodney was born in Jamaica and grew up in the Bronx. He received a BA in English from Long Island University in Brooklyn, an MFA in studio art from the University of California, Irvine; and a PhD from Birkbeck College, University of London, in museum studios. While in London, he created, produced and hosted a radio show called The Thread, broadcast on Resonance FM from 2008-2011.
