Support in Mad. Sq. Style
The Conservancy raises 100% of the funds to care for the historic and beloved Madison Square Park. All proceeds from our ticketed benefit events support year-round maintenance and operations, and our celebrated horticulture and art programs – helping to sustain our mission to steward the Park as a green and clean oasis for the community.
PARTY IN THE PARK
April 2, 2019 | 6:00 to 10:00pm
Madison Square Park
Our annual gala is held under the stars on the Park’s central Oval Lawn. The celebratory evening features a cocktail hour, a one-of-a-kind dining experience with courses prepared by renowned neighborhood chefs, and a live and silent auction of unforgettable prizes and experiences. Attended by 500+ friends, neighbors, philanthropists, community leaders, influencers and more, this event is a highlight of the year for the Park’s community.
Party in the Park on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 is co-chaired by Trustee Robert T. Lapidus and honors Martin Puryear, the revered artist whose monumental sculpture Big Bling was on view in the Park in 2016, and who will represent the United States at the 2019 Venice Biennale. We’ll also celebrate the Biennale’s Commissioner – our own Mad. Sq. Art Senior Curator Brooke Kamin Rapaport, exhibition designers Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, and outreach partner Tom Cahill of Studio in a School.
