Hydrangea Hurrah

Madison Square Park Conservancy is excited to present our first ever Mad. Sq. Hort Day celebrating our Hydrangeas. Hydrangea Hurrah is a family friendly event that will celebrate the Park’s summer blooms with a host of free, fun activities including guest speakers, park tours, floral demos, a kids zone with games, and musical entertainment.

MSPC will host an info booth, the Gardner Steph booth for all horticulture questions, a kids crafting corner, and a botanical library. We will also host lawn games for families and a mini-lawn care center for the toddlers.

Additional event participants include Rita Baragona who will guide a free-flowing hydrangea watercolor activity, Origami USA which brings traditional Japanese paper folding, and the Milliners Guild will host headwear making demonstrations from their tent.
