Celebrating Summer

With temperatures soaring into the 100’s, Tuesday, July 17 may have been one of the hottest day’s New Yorkers have had to endure yet, but it didn’t stop over 800 foodies, Mad. Sq. neighbors and chefs from enjoying Madison Square Park’s summertime culinary extravaganza, Celebrate Flatiron Chefs! 27 of the neighborhood’s best chefs and restaurants came out to support The Madison Square Park Conservancy and provide a taste of their gastronomic gems for all to enjoy. While guests noshed on fantastic fare they also enjoyed creative cocktails, cold beer and sipped wine until the sun began to set offering respite from the heat.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us to raise more than $250,000! The funds raised at Celebrate Flatiron Chefs will support the lush and brilliant horticulture, park maintenance, park security and a variety of free cultural programs.
