Bettye LaVette knocked our socks off last night on the Oval Lawn. Her voice is one that will truly be remembered as one of the greatest to hit the Mad. Sq. stage. She sang hits from her oldest album, “Tell Me a Lie,” all the way through to her soon-to-be-released album, “A Woman Like Me.” The crowd was serenaded into a dreamy soulful wonderland. Thank you so much Bettye for closing out our season with a bang!

From James Maddock and Band to the incomparable Bettye LaVette, we had such an amazing summer of music. Looking back we had a bit of everything that made a cool, sometimes hot, summer night enjoyable to the ear. We had such a wonderful time making special memories for all our fans who came throughout the summer to support us rain or shine, and we look forward to another great summer of music next year.
